The bird made it for me.
This ten out of ten is for the bird and the bird alone.

haha, thanks!
Very very nice.
I think what really made the whole flash for me was the artsy, construction-papery look of things. The water moving back in forth was just like something you might see in a puppet show, as was the boat and many other things.
The character was also really fun to look at... mainly because he/she almost never just stood still: he/she was always doing something or expressing him/herself in much the same way people in real life do.
For a such a simple animation, I never expected this much depth. Good work my friend.
well if you like the cutout style you should check it out on youtube. it looks even more cutout like
Not bad for a first!
I like your art style and I think you really have great potential. For a first submission this is really good!
However, there are definitely some areas for improvement:
1. Choppiness: the animation needs to be smoother.
2. Sound: music was good, but sound effects have the ability to greatly improve an animation.
3. Speed: some scenes went by too quickly while others weren't fast enough.
A tip for fixing number one: Increase the frame rate and add blurs behind the characters to show where they used to be and what motion they're making: at a fast enough speed, this will trick the eye into thinking you did a hell of a lot more animation than you actually did.
If you want to keep some scenes the same length then don't keep the same speed: you should still speed it up. Instead, just increase the number of frames.
Thanks for this constructive review of yours =).
I' ll try to make my upcoming animations smoother and the next flash will definitely be in colour.
Speed: I set the frame rate up to 24 f/s.
Sweet!... potatos.
This totally gets a nine spuds out of ten only because of the annoying explosion that you used waaaaay to much. (as opposed to getting ten out of ten) Liked the vid. Pretty damn funny. Keep it up!
Hey, thanks for the tip. We took out some explosions.
Awesome!
Sweet animation man! This totally deserves front page! I like the consistent style and the smooth animation. Yes its totally random but who cares? Plus the punch line at the end was great!
Please make more!
Although work manufacture is a chain of a toil and trouble, I would like to produce many things.
Beautiful
Amazing and inspiring. Taking the best elements of NG and putting them up for display. Best NG compilation flash EVER!
Thanks
Alright
It was a pretty good flash as far as flashes go but it had several key problems:
1. Bad voice acting. There is no excuse for this and personally, I consider it punishable by law. There is almost nothing more annoying than bad voice acting.
2. Kind of choppy. When the characters turned, their entire body spun instantly. And to move, everyone hopped around. Maybe spend more time on animating movement?
3. Corny plot. Whether it was intentional or not, it spoiled the flash quite a bit.
4. Not very original. Nuff said.
Please fix in further flashes?
Could you please point out to me which movie has a kid that was written into an elf prophesy and wishes for spider-powers while santa has a meltdown because he believes christmas is only about presents?
Looking for original? Wait for the end.
Depressing
The animation was well done and the idea was easy to recognize. However, although the animation was well done, I found several things lacking:
1. Way too much blood. I understand that this is a poor homeless man but is all the gory detail really necessary? Personally, I think it only takes away.
2. Very depressing. Whether or not you intended to depress people who watched this, depression is a very annoying emotion to deal with and normally makes viewers more reluctant to watch the flash over again or any further flashes done by that author.
3. More content. This isn't bad but I think you could take it further.
One thing I really liked was that everything was completely understandable without any voices or text.
ho ho ho
Pretty darn good.
Nice job. Haven't seen too many of these but what I have seen I've liked. Its funny enough to give me a chuckle but unfortunately, not enough to make me laugh out loud. Personally, I think the cookie idea would make a great running joke. Merry Clockmas!
Hmm, I don't know about a running joke...
